TGIF (picture/word vomit ahead)

I must say that I had a pretty fabulous Friday. We interviewed some people, and one of them was definitely an excellent candidate. He seemed to get it and asked all of the right questions. He also seemed like he would be easy to train, which is always a plus.

I guess the major question on everyone’s mind now is am I quitting or what. Here’s the thing—I let my boss know why I wanted to quit and they really want me to stay. I’m just waiting to hear on this raise thing. If I get the substantial raise I deserve, I am definitely going to stay. My boss even mentioned kind of taking over when she goes on breaks and shit. It’s everything I needed to hear coming from the horse’s mouth—all that’s left to do is for them to show me the money. I think I have to give them a deadline so they know that I’m totally serious about leaving. I’m going to be slightly arbitrary and pick next Wednesday.

Also, the woman who I thought would be fired over my dumb shit told me that all is well and that the fucker who yelled at us both got an earful from her as well. I’m glad she stood up for herself and I was very relieved to hear that her job is not in danger. I think I’m going to go to 99 Ranch this weekend and get her some expensive fruit or something. She’s so cute and sassy—she reminds me of my own mother, and I think that’s why I like her so much.

So it’s nearly 2am and I just finished watching another episode of “Thank You.” I’m kind of rushing through it because I really want to see “One Mom and Three Dads.” I was googling stuff about Shin Sung Rok (because I’m a total creep) and I really think I’m in love. HA, yes, RDJ and Keanu are fighting for the second husband spot right now. Anyway, “One Mom and Three Dads” looks so good because of SSR. How can you deny that?

Seriously? Is this not the most hilarious thing you’ve ever seen?

I found this website called Soompi and it has some of the craziest fan love I have ever seen online. They post tons of screencaps and promo pics for Korean-related shows, music, etc. There’s really no need to google for anything else because they pretty much consolidate all of the links into one fucking post. It’s amazing! I tried reading through the thread for “One Mom…” but I stopped after the 6th page…of 200! Jesus!!! SSR only had 6 pages, but each post on each page was packed with pictures of him. AMAZING.

There were some creepy ones, but a lot of funny and cute ones. Like this one:

HA, that last one is hilarious because it must have been taken during a break of the most ridiculous fight scene EVER. It’s so fucking random and intense. I was laughing the entire time even though it was supposed to be fucking hardcore. So god damn cheesy. But SSR is so cute.

The one below is from an older K-Drama I’ve never seen, but want to because I hear he sings in it and is actually quite excellent. I don’t know the context of the picture, but the subtitles just make me smile:

Yes please!

Anyway, sorry I’m like probably grossing you out with my love for SSR, who is so plain and odd-looking in comparison to the likes of Jang Hyuk and Daniel Henney. I didn’t really like him that much before, but then I saw those promo pics for “One Mom…” and fell in love with his hair. And the rest is history! Don’t you think he looks slightly older in “Thank You”? He’s actually something like 26. I could not believe it, but it’s not like a bad thing either that he looks mature for his age. He definitely looks younger in “One Mom…”, but surprisingly he’s supposed to be 32. Whatever, love him!

Okay a few more that I need to share with you and I promise I will shut up about this FOREVER. Hey, at least I’m not complaining about work anymore, right? Swapping vices, I suppose…

The last two just about break my heart.

My dad was trying to make fun of me by saying that my hair looked like SSR’s—but he totally did not realize how much of a compliment that was. He also likes to call me Jay Chou because of the hair. It’s kind of lame, but I guess my dad can’t handle how I can rock a guy’s ‘do better than he ever could. He even asked how I get my hair to look the way it does, and I have to admit it felt good to say, “It’s all natural, pops!”

And PS: we placed second for trivia. We were really close with 1st place as they led by only 4 points. It was a good night—no cheating involved, sharing a pitcher of beer with Selina, and surrounded by the coolest friends (and friends of friends of friends) a girl could have. I want to go to more. Margaret—make it happen.
