the hunt continues
a couple of weeks ago, i scored an interview with a pretty interesting company. i went and met 5 different people. as i was leaving, the dude tells me that they’re considering me for other positions as well, and that he’ll call me in a couple of days.
so after a week and a half, i gave up and moved on. i felt really good about the interviews and was kind of depressed that i didn’t get the job, but i couldn’t really feel that bad about something i never had, so the following week i continued my job search.
today, after two and a half weeks, i got another phone call from their hr person asking me to go in for another set of interviews. wtf. i agreed because i have nothing to gain or lose from going, but i’m already bitter and have bad vibes about them.
and seriously, who else do i need to meet with?! the last time i went i felt like i interviewed with a representative from each department, one of the founders, and this weird hr-type girl. i get that they want someone who will mesh well with the rest of the employees, but i cannot fathom who else i would need to meet in order for them to make this decision. the janitor? the receptionist who didn’t offer me water? the interns? WHO?
ugh, maybe i should cancel. i am not feeling it anymore.
