Sustained Silent Reading
I had a horrible day. It seemed like it was going to be fabulous, but this one incident just turned it around, completely negating all the good stuff.
Let me start out with the good:
For the past week, I felt like I’ve been a major bitch to the new guy. I’m just sick of his stupidity. Completely over it! He doesn’t know how to use a computer, and he tries too hard to be friends...
If you can't buy it, make it
I’ve been watching “Thank You” and I saw a shirt that I absolutely must have! I looked online for something similar, but I have a feeling it’s something out of season in Korea now. It’s basically a long white v-neck tshirt with a large plaid bow in the front.
A few hours later, I decided that I needed to catch up on Bryanboy’s blog, and I saw this:
Okay, so I...
Debbie Downer
I guess I’ve just been complaining a lot about how much my life sucks. Sorry to everyone who has been a victim of my whining.
Denise called me today as I was getting off work at 7pm on a Friday. I ended up just ranting to her for a half hour. It was a really one-sided conversation and after I hung up, I felt horrible. Why can’t I stop complaining?
I want to be able to let it go, but...
The Weekend (beware: word vomit ahead)
Wow, so a lot of good stuff went down this past weekend.
I’ll do it in list form because I LOVE MAKING LISTS!!!:
1) I quit my job on Friday.
You would not believe how horrible I felt the entire week leading up to Friday. I kept trying to do it since Wednesday like I said I would, but the words wouldn’t come out. I like my boss and I felt like she would take it personally even though...
Weak.
Me: Jackie Warner is looking for another personal assistant.
Sandy: Oh really? Are you going to apply?
Me: *sadly* No.
Sandy: What? Why?
Me: It says I have to lift up to 50 lbs.
Sandy: Oh.
Something to Talk About
It’s pretty obvious how I feel about Dennis Quaid. Love him.
It’s also really obvious how I feel about Julia Roberts. A story about how I learned what the term “douchebag” meant comes to mind.
I think a lot of people haven’t seen this movie before, so let me give you a quick summary of what has happened so far:
Julia Roberts is married to Dennis Quaid. Dennis...
Hooray!
FYI:
I am so lucky!
Somehow I managed to will myself to have my period 3 days before I’m about to go on a roadtrip. THANK YOU, JESUS.
